Reporting to the Finance Director located at the head office (CAS Financement), the incumbent will be responsible for the company’s overall accounting management.
Responsibilities
- Complete the full accounting cycle
- Manage the cash report
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Handle month-end closings
- Manage bank accounts, automatic withdrawals, and deposits
- Administer credit card accounts
- Handle accounting related to wholesales: file creation, purchasing, re-invoicing, vehicle storage, and coordination of transfers in SAAQCLIQ
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Submit reports to the parity committee
- Produce CNESST reports
- File remittances with the government
Job Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience in the automotive industry (an asset)
- Knowledge of an accounting software (Lautopak or Microsoft Business Central is an asset)
- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written
