Saint-Eustache - Accounting Technician

Reporting to the Finance Director located at the head office (CAS Financement), the incumbent will be responsible for the company’s overall accounting management.

Responsibilities

  • Complete the full accounting cycle
  • Manage the cash report
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Handle month-end closings
  • Manage bank accounts, automatic withdrawals, and deposits
  • Administer credit card accounts
  • Handle accounting related to wholesales: file creation, purchasing, re-invoicing, vehicle storage, and coordination of transfers in SAAQCLIQ
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
  • Analyze financial results, identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Submit reports to the parity committee
  • Produce CNESST reports
  • File remittances with the government

Job Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in the automotive industry (an asset)
  • Knowledge of an accounting software (Lautopak or Microsoft Business Central is an asset)
  • Proficiency in French, both spoken and written
