Reporting to the owner, the position holder will be responsible for the smooth operation and profitability of the branch they serve, primarily in terms of sales but also with respect to fixed operations (mechanical and logistics).
Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of the business, ensuring that each department functions efficiently and effectively to maximize overall performance.
- Provide support to department managers in resolving issues.
- Proactively monitor team performance indicators, recognize progress toward set objectives, and support the implementation of continuous improvement actions to drive collective success.
- Ensure the quality of service delivered by the team and collaborate with the after-sales service department to ensure full customer satisfaction.
- Coach the team to support both their development and the management of daily challenges.
- Evaluate and ensure the execution of employee training plans.
- Promote the internal development of future leaders.
- Establish and manage the branch’s annual budget, ensuring optimal allocation of financial resources to effectively support the company’s strategic priorities.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the operational efficiency of the branch.
- Promote best practices in compliance and industry standards.
- Supervise general maintenance and cleanliness of the building(s) under their responsibility.
- Represent the company’s core values to employees, clients, and suppliers.
Job Qualifications
- Significant experience as a Sales Director or General Manager
- Strong knowledge of automotive financing
- Relevant experience managing fixed operations and used vehicle departments
- Comfortable with technology and familiar with CRM systems (HubSpot is an asset)
- Proficiency in spoken and written French and English to meet the needs of both Francophone and Anglophone clients
